Before deciding to fully specialise as a Building Surveyor. My professional career included a short period working in General Contracting and Quantity Surveying. With the majority of my experience in Architecture and Building Surveying.
My unique mix of experience enables me to provide an accurate and professional assessment of a building and producing a detailed report – outlining the areas for repair, upgrade and further investigation.
I have qualifications and completed courses in Constructions Studies, Construction Economics, Building Surveying, Interior Architecture, Building Energy Ratings, Part 1 of Architecture. And completed the first english course in Certified European Passive House Designer in Glasgow University.
I have been a member of the South East Regional committee of the Society of Chartered Surveyors, being involved in developing protocols, guidelines and part of a working group on specific retrofit issues.
I am a longstanding member of the Wexford Chapter of BNI (Business Network International) for almost 15 years and have held all roles of the leadership team at various times.
For the same period – I have held the position of Diocesan Architect/Surveyor for the Church of Ireland – in that time surveying hundreds of churches, rectories, parish halls and other buildings.
Outside of my professional role – I am delighted and proud to be current Chairman of the Wexford Hospice Homecare service – a registered Charity, where every cent raised goes to the nursing care of the terminally ill.
Finally in relation to providing a service to my clients – I pride myself on the level of detail in my reports, that enable my clients to make a fully informed decision, when purchasing a property.
This can be seen in the number of testimonials on this website and my Facebook page.
